ESPN’s Chris Haynes reported that Curry would not play on friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks because of his injury.
Stephen Curry had a setback with his ankle injury earlier in the week when he slipped and did not play against the Los Angeles Clippers after spraining his right ankle.
Many hoped that Curry would be back by the weekend, a minor crisis averted for the Warriors as the season reaches its midpoint.
The goal with this Warriors team has always been a repeat as NBA champions.
Curry missing a second game could be a sign of true trouble, or it’s just the Warriors being cautious with him in an effort to not make anything worse.
We’ll have to wait to hear what Steve Kerr says about Curry’s status when he speaks with the media, but let’s hope the Dubs are just being careful here.
