Real Madrid will pay Cristiano Ronaldo £600,000 per week?

During the first half of the season, Ronaldo netted just four times in La Liga and has continued to be linked with a move to either Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain.

However, according to Corriere Dello Sport, Real remain eager to keep Ronaldo at the Bernabeu and are prepared to put his wages on a par with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar.

Real Madrid have reportedly decided to give Cristiano Ronaldo a wage packet of £600,000 per week.

The 32-year-old still has four-and-a-half years remaining on his existing lucrative deal, but Real hope that their commitment to the Portuguese star will convince their main man to stay in Spain’s capital.
